You will be eliminated from the qualifying round if you do not meet the match specific place marker. Some examples are below. All players have a 15 minute grace period from the match scheduled time to show up and play their match. No warm-up or practice Games are permitted once the first tournament match has begun.
If a match is played before the scheduled time, it will not be considered a warm-up and will count as the official scores. For Search and Destroy, if team based game the current round must be completed. Once that round has ended, The team who lost the player should either leave the game, or end the game if that team is host during the intermission between rounds. For all other game types, the match must continue until there is an intermission. The player that lost connection can rejoin the private match lobby at any point and continue to play the remainder of that map and mode.
Any form of cheating, glitching, abusing in-game mechanics, unsportsmanlike behavior, or use of restricted items is forbidden. These offenses are subject to the penalties listed under penalties.
Lag tests will be performed before the start of each match. Once game-play has begun, the game cannot be ended. If for any reason, any Tournament, is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the OZ Clan, which, in the their judgment, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of any Tournament, the OZ Clan reserve the right in their discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Tournament and proceed in such a manner as may be deemed fair and equitable by OZ in their discretion.
Match Prices are determined by the configuration of the match the complexity of it and how much the total prize draw is for that particular match. Obviously real money cannot be given for winning a match, but instead CREDITS cR and Experience ExP are given - it is still a competitive gaming server, but it's all for fun, and you'll develop a reputation!
Tournaments will be held on a variety of maps. Each tournament will have a unique spill to it, where by different Settings, game-mechanics , Rules, Eligibility and Limitations will apply. You will need to read these to familiarize yourself with the game-mechanics of that particular match.
Restrictions might be that certain areas of the map are out of bounds, or that items are restricted to designated areas of play and so on. If a Qualifying Round requires two players per team, then every team is required to have a minimum of 2 players on their roster prior to accepting a match. You cannot buy a slot into a match that requires you to have a co-player, until you actually have a co-player who agrees to buddy up with you and compete.
A team has 15 minutes to show-up with the proper number of eligible players and be ready to start the match. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit.
Teams are responsible for all scheduled matches. As the match was not played, do not report any scores. Although not absolutely required, please have or be willing to learn proper voice communication.
